A basic philosophy of Hiroshima University is to conduct high-quality research and disseminate the results to the world. A longitudinal cohort study of former workers in the Ohkuno-jima poison gas factory and a medical survey of Japanese-Americans – “The Hawaii-Los Angeles-Hiroshima study” – is essential and unique research that we have accomplished. We will continue to disseminate high-quality research results to the world.
